As we re-enter this heavily anticipated phase in the UK, many of us are looking forward to a schedule packed with habits and activities we’ve been anxious to get back into. Cinemas are opening up and for those who are keen to relax into a big screen release, the Everyman on Baker Street is open showing films like Minari and a short walk from those in Marylebone apartments.
Understandably, what some of us are craving more than anything is a regular sports outing; for those like me, a weekly tennis session at the Regents Park ‘Will to Win’ is rather satisfying while maintaining distance from others as a non-contact sport and incidentally it’s a 5 minute jog from those staying in one of the Great Portland Street serviced apartments.
It’ll be easy to get sucked into the frenzy that London will soon become but there still remains an importance in distancing oneself. As you may have heard, the Indian variant is spreading to those with or without a vaccine, so although there is a desire is to engage in everything and anything, it’s also smart to stay aware and safely enjoy yourselves while making the most of the reopened facilities in the city.
